MHAV Board Open House

Written by Bruce Cruser

Bruce Cruser has been Executive Director of Mental Health Virginia since 2016, bringing a background in social work and community corrections, and many years of leadership experience in local and state government.

September 1, 2013

The MHAV Open House was attended by 24 ½ people, with nine interested Board candidates. I have received Board Nomination Questionnaires from the following people who attended the Open House (all recommended by your ED):

  • Allison Sampson, PhD and LCSW, VP of Clinical Operations, Providence Social Services (Midlothian)
  • Heather Schofield, Human Resources Manager, Chesterfield County Government
  • Christopher Hardbower, certified paralegal and CELT graduate, and resident of Burke, VA
  • Stephanie Karn, Goodman, Allen & Filetti, PLLC, of Richmond

Allison donated 500 pens to our Warm Line for marketing, and Stephanie has listed us as a pro bono client of her law firm.
