As our current Executive Director nears retirement, Mental Health Virginia is seeking a talented and dedicated, full-time Executive Director to lead the organization. The ideal candidate will bring varied skills to solidify the agency’s growth and develop the resources to advance Mental Health Virginia as the leading voice for mental health.
The Virginia affiliate of Mental Health America, MHV advocates for a person-centered, accessible continuum of mental health services from prevention through recovery, and public awareness that mental health is part of everyone’s health. Direct services include recovery education, the statewide peer-run mental health warm line, and peer support to empower self-advocacy and wellness. We also run the Virginia Peer Recovery Support Network, with its website and statewide PRS job/internship listings.
